| Romont from afar |
My birthday field trip was to Romont in Canton Fribourg, home of a charming walled city with a stained glass museum and also a giant Nespresso factory. We walked around the city and then, because we like to live dangerously, hiked the 40 minutes or so to nearby Mézièrs and visited the wallpaper museum (which was slightly [but not much] more interesting than it sounds, and did not allow photography).
