Lausanne and Geneva

On the first two days of school vacation, Caroline and I saw relatives in Lausanne and old friends in Geneva. Which mostly served to remind me how rare this is and how life would maybe be different if we had either relatives or old friends, or both! in our lives on a regular basis. As people generally do?
