In honor of the praline workshop today, here are two sugar-fueled Christmas songs, one in Swiss German and the other in German German and both equally cute and grating when sung by a random school choir or kindergarten class.
Zimetschtern han i gern (lyrics) - to the tune of Jingle Bells. Helpfully lists the types of Christmas cookies approved in Switzerland. Deviate from this list at your peril.
In der Weihnachtsbäckerei (lyrics) - so the German word for this is Ohrwurm, earwig, meaning a song that gets stuck in your head and haunts you until a more irritating tune takes its place. Tomorrow's song will be Carol of the Bells. Just kidding.

| So no, despite the claims of the chipper chocolate workshop guy, ours don't taste remotely as good as the ones from the chocolate shop. In the future I will leave this to the professionals. But I learned something, and we did not kill each other, and chocolate. So, success! |
