snapshots

I'm wimping out on the writing tonight, partly because we are springing forward and I'm already feeling sleep deprived. But here instead, for your enjoyment, are some random photos from the last few days.
From our Wednesday visit to the university, in which I attempt to not have a heart attack as my only son walks to the top of what at the end seems like an entirely too high, one-foot wide wall/art thing.

The creepy bunnies are getting lined up for their big day. I'm really not sure who let the stick-on dresses pass here.

Helloooo allergy season! You can't see it in this picture but this tree was buzzing with bees of all sizes, pretty cool.

What's funny about this one is that Migros is the biggest grocery store chain in Switzerland, but like *everybody* buys cakes there instead of baking at home when "baking a cake" is required, and apparently they are playing along by selling cakes with a "homemade" appearance?? That or the sprinkles just got out of control today.

Maybe you already knew that one can buy teething toys shaped like trendy vegetables? I didn't. Caroline and I went into this super adorable hipster baby store today, and even though there are definitely no more babies in our house, did not make it out without buying something (it wasn't Kendall the Kale, though I was strangely tempted by his friend Ana Banana).

This is my favorite view of Zürich, from the university looking out across all the church towers. It was a beautiful day today, as you can see.

And finally, a public service announcement: don't dump bottles of wine down the toilet. Wait...why is there a sign for this?
