out

This morning we got up, herded the kids out of the house, and went for a two-hour walk to the bakery and through the woods before the population density outside got too nutty. Then I took a shower, now it's noon, and I feel calmer than I have all week. I'm going to go with it, put my computer away for the day, and read an actual book. Is the plan. Here goes.
The view this morning from Hasenrain, Albisrieden, Zürich, photo credit Daniel. On the list of "things I can't wait for the lockdown to be over for" I can now definitely add "go hiking not immediately around our apartment." What's the point of living in Switzerland otherwise? This goes hand-in-hand with being able to take my phone out again, of course.
